About Beneficial Use

This web portal is a compact, content-rich resource covering beneficial use of industrial byproducts. It was developed and is maintained by the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences under the National Compliance Assistance Centers program. Funding for this project has been provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

This portal is intended to provide generators, end users, and state regulators with access to current information so they can safely expand the practice of beneficial use. The primary tools here include:

• Government news, and
• Annotated Resource section.
